September 2009

New York State ended the month of September at 80%. Great Job!!!!

I no we can do better. We have to reach our Quota this year. It has been a Long time since we have done that. I have heard Brothers say comments like, were ok we only need to sign a couple more this year to make our lodge quota. Why should we keep trying to do more? Some of the answers to that is:

With every member that gets signed Strengthens our Defending Circle by helping the Fraternity grow.
It helps the State because the more members we sign we meet our quota. We also get more opportunities from Mooseheart for Lodges. Such as advancements in Pilgrim and Fellows to be awarded.
Your own personal pride of signing members, you have helped all the previous stated and you get personal rewards from the State and the International.
Oh Yes! It helps your Lodge. It helps to meet your lodge quota and possible more. Your Lodge has something to be proud of and the more members signed in you lodge probable means more funds into you lodge thru the Social Quarters. Also it may mean that member just might be a future officer or volunteer.

These are just a few of the reasons to sign members. So brothers lets get going. Thank you.

This mean we are doing quite a bit better than we have in the past but there is stillroom for improvement. I realize that we are in some tough times but I think we have to remember that there are over 100 members in your lodge. We are asking for 1 application from over 100 members. This means the lodges that haven’t reported are not taking advantage of all our assets in Lodges. Assets such as the Social Quarters, Dinning, and Bingo just to name a few. Singing at least 1 member a month means that as you age chances are someone will continue the work you have done in the future.
