Activity Information, Membership Report & Committee Information
Date: Tuesday, February 10, 2009, 6:50 PM Dear Brothers and Co-Workers; It is that time of the year again! I respectfully request that the following be read at your next Lodge/Chapter meeting: I first need to thank all of the members, lodges, chapters, State Executive Committee Members, and Youth Committee Members for their years of support and service to ensure that the youth that attend the NYSMA conventions are provided with the high quality positive programs we have been able to enjoy all of these years. Without the continuous support of those mentioned we would not be where we are today!
With that said, I am again writing today for your continued support. We are currently in the process of planning activities for the weekend in Grand Island and your help is critical. In addition to the conventions and special activities we are also recognizing and encouraging the efforts of many local teen clubs from across the state at every convention. I realize and understand that times are tight but we ask you to please give what you Can to provide our youth with positive options. We have grown and developed so much over the years and we have made much progress with the types of programs we are able To offer. Please help us continue this tradition b making a donation. Please make checks payable to NYSMA, and earmark them for the teen club.
