Tournament Guidelines Trap and Skeet

Bid Guidelines and Host Lodge Requirements

  1. At least two (2) trap and two (2) skeet fields
  2. Clay targets bid at competitive prices (Submit with bid or bring to Sports Meeting)
  3. Steak dinner put on at host Lodge (Submit with bid or bring to Sports Meeting)
  4. Housing at reasonable rates
  5. MUST HAVE ALL NYSMA DUES AND BID FEE'S PAID.

Committee responsibilities

 

  1. Send out entry / release forms

  2. Set up tournament shooting schedule and brackets

  3. Determine winners

  4. Check Lodge and Chapter dues receipts and have release signed by each participant

  5. Handle all protests

  6. Contact NYSMA Secretary to determine if participating Lodges have paid their Association dues

  7. Notify Regional Managers office for mailing labels 2 weeks prior to mailing date

  8. Place results of the tournament in the bulletin and website with pictures if available and mail a report of the tournament to the State Sports Chairman

  9. Order trophies / plaques. Ship trophies / plaques to winners

     

 

 

 

Tournament Guidelines Men's Golf

 

Bid Requirements

 

  1. One 18 hole golf course suitable for tournament play. Secure contract for date. DO NOT SIGN

  2. Motel or adequate housing for 50 rooms

  3. Golf carts - approximately 75

  4. Banquet facilities for seating of approximately 150 persons

  5. Must have participated in previous years tournament.

Host Lodge Responsibilities

 

  1. Provide a banquet for approximately 150 persons. Meals to consist of sit down dinner.

  2. Provide at least 6 men and a chairman for six hours and a starters table for registration and recording the tournament results and PA system if available

  3. Access to a Lodge computer if available

  4. Provide at least 2 individuals to run a "skins" game

 

Committee Responsibilities

 

  1. Mail out entry blanks, rules, and all pertinent information.

  2. Assign tee times and notify players of times

  3. Check dues receipts and ensure participants have signed release forms

  4. Have sign made for starters table

  5. Determine winners

  6. Oversee tournament

  7. Handle all protests

  8. Contact NYSMA Secretary to determine if participating Lodges have paid their Association dues
